Nurse Functional Assessor - Hybrid Role
Permanent Nurse Functional Assessor roles for registered nurses seeking weekday hours in a structured, non‑treatment assessment role. This hybrid position is based in Glasgow with a strong focus on quality, dignity, and claimant experience. Full and part time options available.
Overview
Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 + benefits. Hybrid working with face‑to‑face assessments delivered from modern consultation centres in Glasgow. Fully remote working is not available.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. No nights. No weekends. No shift work.
Full time and part time hours available, minimum 22.5 hours per week (3 days).
Eligibility: Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post‑registration experience. Right to Work in the UK required.
What you’ll do
- Complete face‑to‑face functional assessments.
- Explore how health conditions affect daily living and mobility
- Apply structured functional assessment guidance consistently
- Produce clear, evidence‑based written reports
- Deliver assessments in a respectful and claimant‑focused manner
- Work within clinical governance and peer support frameworks
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years post‑registration clinical experience
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report‑writing skills
- Professional, empathetic, and quality‑focused approach
- Interest in functional assessment and disability analysis
- Confident IT skills and ability to meet quality standards
- Salary £32,073 to £39,043
