We’re offering a new opportunity to join our transport team, taking responsibility for leading safe, compliant and efficient transport operations across our three Access Plus depots in Scotland.

The role:

• Manage a team of 13 drivers and 11 vehicles, ensuring safe, compliant and high‑quality transport operations.
• Lead a strong safety first culture across all Access Plus transport operations.
• Apply best practice transport processes to improve safety, compliance, and performance.
• Ensure the Transport team works safely, efficiently and fully compliant.
• Oversee in house and external transport providers to meet legal and Briggs UK standards.
• Resolve transport challenges while maintaining service quality and staying within budget.
• Coordinate transport activity with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
• Build effective relationships with Sales, Hire, and Engineering teams.
• Support continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with all current and emerging transport legislation.
• Deliver consistently high service levels to internal and external stakeholders.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• National or International Certificate of Professional Competence qualification in Transport Management.
• Strong experience in transport, logistics or operations management.
• Proven experience managing budgets and supplier contracts.
• In‑depth knowledge of the transport and logistics sector, including relevant regulations.
• Extensive experience managing third‑party transport and logistics providers.
