A bit about the job:

You'll lead our Mid Market Branch across Scotland and Northern Ireland, guiding a team of around 45 - 50 colleagues. You'll shape underwriting performance, strengthen broker partnerships, and help us grow a portfolio worth more than £100m. You'll work side by side with Sales and Distribution to present one clear Aviva presence to the market. You'll also play an active role in our North Region Senior Leadership Team, influencing strategy and bringing our values to life. Your leadership will help your team deliver great outcomes for customers, brokers and our business.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Leadership experience in commercial insurance, ideally in mid-market underwriting or senior broking.
• A track record of leading large, multi-location teams and supporting leaders.
• Strong, trusted relationships across the Scotland and Northern Ireland broker market.
• Confident commercial judgement and the ability to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
• Comfortable representing Aviva externally, building influence and partnering closely with Sales and Distribution.
